These are some of the projects we have been working on recently. As you can see we work on a wide variation of projects. (Please be aware that we do not get involved in the design side of web sites. The quality of design in these projects may vary).
New site for Vista
As part of Wildfire Advertising winning some new work from Vista, we were asked to help them produce a new website with a fully fledged CMS.
Vista already had a website, but it was quite old and frustrating for them to update. We decided that we would once again use RadiantCMS as our CMS of choice. We took the opportunity to use the latest release of Radiant and used a number of very useful extensions specifically built for the new release.
Vista have been incredibly pleased with their new site and had a special launch event for the site. The feedback has been very positive and a number of their screen reader users have commented on how much easier the site is to now use.
As part of the project we spent a morning with Vista running through the CMS and once again the feedback was very positive and they have been happily changing content on their site since that day.
To handle any support calls we've had, so far only three, we have found that generating specific screencasts has proven very popular with the client.
Work involved
- Setting up the site using RadiantCMS
- Writing a couple of RadiantCMS extensions for custom content types
- Writing the necessary XHTML, CSS and JS for the front-end
- Providing hosting for the site
- Offering support and guidance on how to use RadiantCMS
