Blog
Whilst working on client projects we often find useful bits of information out. Where possible we blog about that information to pass on our knowledge. Below are some of our most recent entries.
Sponsoring the April Hull Digital Developer Meetup
We are very proud to announce that, along with Hull University, we are sponsoring the April Hull Digital Developer Meetup.
The group is a smaller subset of the Hull Digital community. The purpose of the group is to bring together local developers and discuss things that are happening within the world of development. The group is made up of developers with all kinds of backgrounds; mobile phone developers, web developers and desktop application developers. The group also works closely with the University to get the students involved with the meetup and to encourage them to meet local development businesses.
The reason we were keen on sponsoring the group is that we feel is promotes some of our ideals, especially the idea of continuous improvement. As developers we should not stand still, but always look to improve our knowledge and skill set.
The topics for the talks for April's event are both very close to our hearts. Neil Robbins will be talking on the idea of NOSQL and Dave Foy will be talking about SEO.
We look forwards to seeing many of the local developers at the group and hope to make the most of the networking opportunity to find out what other local developers are up to.
